Nah, you’ll have to wait till tomorrow to see the new blog. I need to write the first entry there and the last one here.
SO much to do, haha!
There is suddenly so much to take care of.
Maybe because I will be away for the next 5 weeks.
I’m sitting under a blanket, writing emails, drinking tea and eating delicious truffles.
Could be worse!
The new blog is so ready I can almost taste it.
Just taking care of the final touch – and voilá!
Should all be out by Thursday morning!
Here’s a sneak peek:
I’m trying to book flights in India and look for hotels….but nothing works and the Internet pages keep giving me ‘error’.
Damn it.
I had to send these amazing hand made (!) Xmas cards away to some friends who I haven’t seen in a long time.
GORGEOUS, right???
I’ve checked off most of the stuff on today’s to-do list (more cleaning, writing Christmas cards, sending emails, looking for hotels, finishing a chapter in my thesis..) and soon some uni friends are coming over.
Look at these gorgeous tulips I bought in the supermarket yesterday – pink is the new Xmas color!
I woke up this morning, made my weekend cup of tea and noticed that the soy milk had gone bad. Major crisis!
Then spent the morning doing some accounting, cleaned, cooked lunch and went to see my grand ma, who was so glad to see me. It’s touching how little one has to do for an older person’s happiness..
Just bought pretty tulips and a Christmas star for tonight’s hostess. Going to a glögg party – oh and you’re missing out on something huge, if you’ve never tasted this drink. Kind of like glühwein but much better with raisins and almonds.
Now I want to write some Xmas cards, enjoy my very well deserved cup of tea and do the final changes for my new blog.
Yes, sir, that’s the project I’ve been working on and it’s almost finished. And it will be launched next week when my closest ladies join me for a little celebration.
Not much to tell today.
I’ve got a lovely visitor and we talked till waaay too late. Got up waaay too late too, had to fetch some articles from the uni, then we did massive grocery shopping and the rest of the day I’ve spent writing about research theories.
Zzz.
In an hour we’re going to a Christmas concert in the City centre. At least something to look forward to.
Oh, and TGIF of course!!
Lately I haven’t been meditating like I did in New York every day. I came home and managed to do it for about two months, and then my skin freaked out and all I did was sit for 18 minutes and scratch myself.
So I stopped.
Now I want to start again, because it helps and keeps me relaxed. I’ve been sitting on the couch a lot lately, writing the thesis, and I always have a lit candle by my side.
And I practice. Look at the flame for a couple of minutes, only doing that and not allowing any other thoughts to enter my mind.
It’s pretty fun to do and it only requires a couple of minutes.
You can complain about constantly running out of time – but 3 minutes is what you need for visiting the bathroom..and we all need to do that, whether you are stressed or not.
So meditate! And learn something along the way.
